Reginal Wright, Choral Director
Mr. Wright is currently in his 10th year of public school teaching. Mr. Wright received his Bachelor and Master of Music Education degrees from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. He joins MHS after an 8 year tenure in the Fort Worth ISD where he taught successfully at the William James Middle School and the Trimble Technical High School. While in Fort Worth Mr. Wright received several awards including Outstanding Teacher, Who's Who Among America's Teachers and runner-up for the Bayard Friedman Chair for Excellence in Performing Arts. Choirs under his direction have received consistent Superior and Sweepstakes awards at UIL competition. His choirs also consistently earn "Outstanding Choir" at state and nationwide music festivals. In addition to his school duties, Mr. Wright is a member of the world-renown Schola Cantorum of Texas choir where he sings baritone. He is also an accomplished jazz pianist and plays in a variety of venues. Mr. Wright is an active member of TMEA, ACDA, TCDA and MENC. He and his lovely wife, Renetta reside in Fort Worth and have 2 adorable children Reece and Gabrien.

Dr. Jane Andrews
Dr. Andrews received her Bachelor of Music Education from Centenary College of Louisiana, with a concentration in piano and certification in piano and vocal music. She received the Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. Andrews taught piano and theory at Williams Baptist College in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. She served as an adjunct professor at Southwestern Seminary for nineteen years and is beginning her twenty-second season with the Arlington Master Chorale. She has many years of experience in accompanying and coaching choirs and vocalists. Dr. Andrews also teaches piano and is frequently asked to serve as an adjudicator for piano festivals and competitions throughout northeast Texas. She has two sons, Zane and Byron.
